During the grand opening, customers had the opportunity to try a selection of teas and blends, including two exclusive blends that are reminiscent of favorite and traditional Puerto Rican desserts, Tembleque and Coco-Piña.
"We are delighted to open in the Mall of San Juan and look forward to offering a premium tea experience to customers in Puerto Rico,” said Annie Young-Scrivner, president, Teavana. “We have over 100 epicurean blends that you can taste the quality and flavor in every up. Visit us and learn how to make delicious iced, hot or matcha teas at home. Let our team help you find your perfect blend or that perfect gift for someone special.”
Teavana was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997. It was purchased by Starbucks Coffee Company in December 2012. Teavana has more than 360 stores in the United States and Canada, Mexico, and the Middle East and 6 Teavana Tea Bars in North America, with an ambitious plan to re-invent the tea experience around the globe.
